Healthcare and education, closer to people.

Lipan Care brings care, schooling and mutual aid to families who live far from them — in the peri-urban districts and villages of Cameroon, and here in the Paris region.

Flagship project

Lipan Care Centers: a health centre where there is none

In Cameroon, urban sprawl pushes many families to outskirts where schools and shops eventually appear… but rarely a health centre.

Our answer: repurposed shipping containers turned into solar-powered care points, linked to a doctor via satellite teleconsultation, plus mobile units touring the villages.

Education

We support education in rural areas

At Ongué public primary school (Yassoukou canton, Edéa 1st), we handed over exercise books, books and school supplies to pupils, together with the district basic education inspectorate.

Every school kit means a child starting the year with the same chances as everyone else.

It all started with a family conversation with a nurse and lab technician from a large hospital in Yaoundé. Her days told the same story: care is too far from those who need it.
